ABLE is a binding automation solution that helps manage the flow of materials between the library and the bindery. ABLE™ Web is a second generation system that was developed specifically for Internet use. In order to qualify for automated software, annual minimums must be met. Using a browser, ABLE™ Web can be accessed from any user’s desktop. Its easy-to-use graphical interface provides access to your library’s permanent periodical database and it also provides the tools needed to prepare all types of binding. Binding history is stored online and reports provide detailed information about binding activity. Shipment data is transferred electronically, eliminating the need for media exchange.
When you are ready to use ABLE Web, we will coordinate the process of loading your data on our Web server. We can convert your data from most commonly-used binding automation systems. Once your data is loaded, we provide step-by-step self-training materials. Our skilled Technical Support staff is also available to you toll-free, during business hours, Monday through Friday. We will follow up with your staff to ensure a successful transition.
